How Anna understands relations
Imagine Mila is Jonas's mother, so she is older than him. Tell Anna "Mila is older than Jonas", and she understands more than you said.
What happens in the video
- Inverse: For every relation between two things Anna knows the inverse. "Jonas is younger than Mila" is the same sentence to her, seen from the other side. She stores it once and works out the inverse when reading, so the two can never drift apart.
- Chains: Add "Ida is younger than Jonas" and Anna infers: Mila is older than Ida. Inferred, not guessed, and stored with where it came from.
- Asking: If someone says "Ida is older than Mila", Anna doesn't quietly overwrite. She asks: "So far I have: Mila is older than Ida. Should I change that?"
- Taking back: If a statement goes, whatever Anna inferred from it goes too.
The three figures at the top are drawn and made up, so you don't have to keep track of who is older.
What filming turned up
As with the last episodes, the video showed things in the app that we have since fixed or are still fixing:
- Some family relations had no fixed inverse, such as aunt and niece. Now every relation between two things has one, and a test keeps watch.
- The chat header showed a developer display. Now it shows the topic of the conversation.
- In the English app, the swipe action on a fact still said "Löschen". Now it says "Delete".
- After deleting, the facts list still shows the deleted line until you reopen it, and an internal value appears under the names. Both are open tickets.
Anna's voice is AI-generated (ElevenLabs). Picture and music are real: a recording of the app in the simulator, and the music is mine.
