In one sentence
fak10 is the diary of your time: a private app for your phone, for your own life, in which Anna understands what you tell her right on the device and lets you follow every step.
In three sentences
fak10 keeps what makes up a life: people, documents, deadlines and needs. Anna reads German and English through grammar, data and logic right on the phone, offline and without an account; where she doesn't know something, she asks instead of guessing. Anyone who does want a big AI to read a document calls it explicitly and sees what leaves the device.
In detail
Large language models answer fluently, but you can't tell whether they understood, and their memory sits on someone else's servers. fak10 takes the other path. Anna breaks every sentence down by the rules of grammar, turns it into statements with source and date, and draws conclusions: tell her Merle is your daughter and Walter your father, and when you ask for Merle's grandfather she answers "Walter", although nobody ever said so. Every word in the chat leads to what Anna knows about it, all the way into a 3D graph of her knowledge.
How far this goes, the founder measures in the open: on a test bench, Anna and a big AI read the same texts. As of 30 September 2026: Anna meets 13 of 16 expectations with no false entry, the big AI 11 of 16 with one. Every line and every change to the test bench is on fak10.app/en/pruefstand.html.
fak10 is in development, a TestFlight beta is planned; there is no launch date yet. Anna is free. Having documents read by a big AI is planned as an in-app purchase. Data is never sold.

The founder
Maciek Niemczyk started mapping his needs in an Excel spreadsheet in 1996, at sixteen; that is where Anna got her name. In 2009 came a first Anna in Java with her own grammar, in 2010 a diploma thesis at the University of Siegen on similarity search, in 2017 the web app your-life and in 2021 the start of fak10. He builds fak10 alongside his job and tells the story in the open in the devlog. The whole story: "Computer, do it."
